Twilight zone pinball machine
The Twilight Zone pinball machine is our favorite of all time. It's the one that got us into pinball when we frequented the arcades in South Africa back in 1993. Designed by Pat Lawler, right after his huge success with The Addams Family pinball machine. Twilight Zone is a wide-body Pinball Machine. Over 15'000 were sold, and were mostly too complex for the average arcade visitor to understand. It had the most toys and the most over-cost budget in the history of pinball.
Main features include four flippers, a life-size gumball machine that locks balls inside, a mechanical clock with rotating arms, a mini playfield with invisible (magnet) flippers and a ceramic ball that is not affected by the game's two stock magnets.
When pinball collecting became a thing, TZ, as its known in the pinball circles, became the most modded game ever. These include, but are not limited to: A robot toy, a real mini television screen, a flashing camera and more!
When our friends at TEP pinball unveiled their first product, a topper for Twilight Zone, we knew we had to be first in line for one of these. Ours is number 6 !
The quality, the design and the help we received from the other side of the world made us love the guys over at TEP. We got in touch and one thing led to another... Now we are proud to represent these guys and their amazing products outside of the States, spreading the word, making shipping and logistics easier so everyone in the world can enjoy these amazing products and our love for pinball. Both started out thanks to the one and only - THE TWILIGHT ZONE by Bally.
